After enjoying the monthly Saturday "Big Breakfast" in the Green Valley RV Resort clubhouse, we continued our way east in Arizona. We stopped at a rest area atop a mountain in Arizona with incredible views and huge rocks.
Note the huge rocks in the background of the picnic table below.
Twice now we have had to stop at Border Patrol Inspection Stations. We were stopped in western Arizona on Tuesday and then again today in western Texas. Both times we were probably within sight of the Mexican border to the south. Homeland Security stops every car and truck questioning passengers, looking for smugglers and using dogs to check for drugs. Border Patrol vehicles are more common than police vehicles along I-10.
The views into Texas continue to be spectacular.
It is easy to cover a lot of miles in Texas. The speed limit is as high as 80 mph.

We've enjoyed your blog so much! Just noticed today that we could leave comments. Today we play bells in church - just thought you'd want to know. I'll share your blog address with Bell Cantos. Miss you! Joyce and Ron
